Job Description

Experienced Class 1 HGV drivers required for daily airport work based at Heathrow airport cargo terminal - minimum 50 hours per week (minimum 10 hours a day)

17 p/h payroll. 18 p/h self employed

Various shifts available through the evening/night until morning. Can be more than 10 hours a day but we guarantee 10 hours minimum.

Guaranteed work through the week for a very busy transport company based out of Heathrow.

Competitive rates dependant upon experience.

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

- A full UK C+E licence

- Valid CPC holders

- Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations

- No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN)

- Long term availability

- Digicard

- Must not have more than 3 points on their licence

- Minimum of 1 year HGV driving experience is essential

- MUST have 5 year checkable work history

- Successful candidates will be required to present a valid DBS check dated within last 2 months

- Level D training will be required

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

- General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer's premises or other locations.

- Delivering products on behalf of our client and their customer

- Use of electronic P.O.D and up to date technology (full training will be given to ensure best practice)

- Assisting with loading and unloading

- Must be professional and adhere to company protocol

- Familiar with Airport cargo terminal work is essential
