Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Alarm Response SIA Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to investigate security alarms, responding promptly to incidents, and ensuring the safety of premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a high level of alertness, excellent judgment, and strong communication skills. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security sectors is highly desirable, along with relevant certifications such as SIA licensing.

Responsibilities

Respond swiftly to alarm activations and assess the situation on-site. Coordinate with emergency services or law enforcement when necessary Perform regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security breaches Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports for management Manage conflict situations professionally, employing conflict management techniques when needed Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional help arrives Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring suspicious activity and preventing theft or vandalism Maintain a high level of situational awareness at all times to ensure safety and security

Requirements

Valid SIA license for alarm response officers Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields preferred Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent observational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments Flexibility to work shifts as required, including nights or weekends if necessary
