Sefton's leading care provider, New Directions, is now recruiting for a Registered Service Manager in our Reablement Service. We currently employ around 350 staff across the business who pride themselves on delivering high quality social care and support to vulnerable groups within the Sefton area.
Reablement is a short-term support service which helps people regain skills they need for daily living lost due to injuries and health conditions. The majority of people who use our service have justbeen discharged from hospital.
The successful candidate will manage alerts and reconciliations via the Electronic Monitoring System, monitoring and verifying that community staff have completed all visits to service users and that they have been confirmed on the system, reporting any changes or concerns to the management team. You will be responsible for completing reconciliations, ensuring the accurate recording of times when employees have attended care calls.
The successful candidate will also act as a first point of contact for service users, staff, families and other professionals to report any areas of concern, as well as recording all incoming calls on a daily basis in the activity log, ensuring actions are passed to the relevant people.
Experience of working in an office environment, carrying out a wide range of administrative and IT functions is essential. A Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent is desirable.
A Standard DBS Check is required for this post.
