We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating students and enhancing their learning experiences. This role involves working closely with children, including those with special educational needs, to provide tailored support that fosters academic growth and confidence.

Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding progress and challenges. Provide support for students with special educational needs, ensuring an inclusive learning environment. Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere to motivate students. Keep accurate records of student performance and feedback.

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a focus on educating children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey concepts. Familiarity with special education practices and strategies is highly desirable. Ability to build rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment. Organisational skills to manage lesson plans and student records efficiently. Patience and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
