We are
selectively recruiting one A-Level Maths Course Tutor
to join our team.
We are interviewing immediately and will appoint as soon as the right candidate is identified.
This is
not
a casual tutoring role and
not
an academic or research position.
It is a
course delivery role
within a structured, high-standards environment.
About the Role
You will deliver live, online A-Level Maths lessons as part of a structured programme designed around:
Exam performance and mark-scheme thinking
Clarity under time pressure
Consistent standards and accountability
Helping students apply knowledge confidently in exams
Most of our tutors work with us as their
primary professional role
, not as a side hustle.
Teaching Schedule
Depending on student location, teaching takes place in one or both of the following blocks:
UK students:
Late afternoons, evenings, and weekends (UK time)
UAE students:
UK mornings / UAE daytime
You do
not
need to be available all the time, but you must be reliable within your agreed block.
This Role Is a Good Fit If You:
Have experience teaching
A-Level Maths
(school, serious tutoring, or structured online programmes)
Enjoy explaining concepts clearly and simply
Understand whystudents lose marks -- not just the content itself
Are comfortable teaching live online using a tablet and pen
Value structure, preparation, and high standards
Take responsibility for student outcomes and your own performance
This Role Is
Not
a Fit If You:
Are primarily seeking an academic, research, or PhD-focused role
Want a casual or ad-hoc tutoring position
Prefer complete autonomy with no systems or standards
Dislike structured lesson preparation or accountability
Are looking for "easy hours" rather than meaningful impact
Requirements
Based in the
UK or the UAE
Legally able to work where you are based
Strong A-Level Maths subject knowledge
Reliable internet connection
Laptop/desktop + digital tablet and pen
Confidence teaching live online
