Join Achieve Tuition as an A-Level Maths Tutor

Achieve Tuition is a new and ambitious tutoring centre opening in the heart of Cape Hill, Smethwick. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, personalised education that empowers every student to reach their full potential.

We are currently seeking dedicated and knowledgeable A-Level Maths Tutors to join our growing team. If you're passionate about mathematics and committed to helping students excel, we'd love to hear from you.



We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced A-Level Maths Tutors to deliver engaging, structured lessons that support students through their A-Level studies. You will work with individuals or small groups, helping them strengthen their mathematical skills, refine exam techniques, and build confidence.

This role is ideal for university students studying mathematics or related degrees, graduates, trainee teachers, qualified teachers, and experienced tutors with strong Maths expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality A-Level Maths lessons aligned with exam board specifications (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, etc.). Provide clear explanations of complex mathematical concepts and guide students through exam-style questions. Develop students' problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills. Track student progress using assessments, regular feedback, and monitoring systems. Adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and ability levels. Prepare students for mock exams, school assessments, and final A-Level examinations. Create a supportive and motivating learning environment. Communicate student progress to parents/guardians where appropriate. Stay up to date with curriculum and exam board changes.
Requirements

Strong subject knowledge in A-Level Maths (Core, Pure, Mechanics, Statistics). Experience teaching or tutoring Maths at A-Level or higher. Good understanding of exam board specifications and assessment styles. Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to build learner confidence. A genuine passion for education and student success. Desirable: Teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) or tutoring certification.
