You will provide a range of administrative support to healthcare clinics and associated academic activities undertaken in the Allied Clinical Health Hub. This includes undertaking a wide of administrative processes related to The Hub and provide a reception service for patients, staff and students for all clinics and associated teaching areas within the Allied Clinical Health Hub.
This will be an ideal opportunity for healthcare or business graduates or those currently studying a post-graduate degree. You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You'll play a key role in:
Assisting with the day-to-day administration and reception duties in the Allied Clinical Health Hub.
Being a point of contact for patients, clients, staff, and students attending or supporting the clinical services offered by the Cardiff School of Sport and Health Sciences.
You will foster and ensure good customer service to enhance the student experience.
Providing support to new and ongoing research activities within the Allied Clinical Health Hub.
Working with the ACHH Lead, ACHH co-ordinator, technical and academic staff to maximise service provision in the clinics and undertake any general administrative activities as requested.
What you'll bring
You'll already have an Undergraduate degree a healthcare or business administration related subject, or be working towards a post-graduate degree in these areas (approximate completion date July 2026). With your knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and experience in Healthcare or Business administration you will be a key member of the team, supporting our range of clinics and academic activities.
Additionally, you'll:
Have excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with patients, students, and staff.
Have excellent attention to detail when managing and prioritising tasks.
Have a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem solving.
Have integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive personal and financial data.
Be willing to work flexibly and some evenings and / or weekends.
