Are you ready to take the lead in shaping ASDA's national logistics strategy?

We're looking for a proactive and analytical National Resource Manager to join our logistics team. This is a pivotal role focused on resource planning, performance optimisation, and strategic collaboration across our depot network and third-party partners.



What you'll do:

Lead resource planning across all ASDA depots, using volume analysis and historical data to create accurate and efficient plans. Support depot teams with input/output planning to ensure smooth operations and optimal resource utilisation. Manage third-party relationships, focusing on resource alignment and performance delivery. Align depot targets and KPI frameworks to drive consistency and excellence in planning. Facilitate stakeholder meetings to review current processes and explore future ways of working. Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and transparency.

What you'll bring:

Strong experience in logistics planning and resource management, ideally in a national or multi-site environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse trends and translate insights into action. Familiarity with planning systems - knowledge of Microlise and Excel is a strong advantage. A collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
