AS2Educate are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and dynamic Alternative Provision Tutor / Mentor to join our team. Experience working within an Alternative Provision is essential, as is a strong understanding of young people with SEMH and behavioural challenges.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in sport, enrichment, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or practical learning environments. You do not need to be a qualified teacher, your ability to engage, motivate, and support our students is far more important.
The post involves delivering sports sessions, enrichment activities, and small-group or 1:1 academic lessons, underpinned by empathy and trauma-informed practice.
AS2Educate provides a safe, therapeutic, and nurturing learning environment for young people who have not thrived in mainstream education. Our trauma-informed, creative, and practical curriculum supports students with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, ODD, EBD, anxiety and trauma-related difficulties. We are committed to helping students rebuild confidence, reignite a passion for learning, and work towards a positive future.
