welcome to Halo! We are recruiting Ambulance Care Assistants (ACA) to join our Patient Transport Service in Chester and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for healthcare assistants, support workers, care assistants, or anyone with a caring, professional approach looking for flexible healthcare work.

You'll be responsible for supporting patients during non-emergency patient transport, ensuring every journey is safe, dignified, and compassionate.

Key Responsibilities

Assist patients to and from medical appointments Provide reassurance and basic patient care during transport Safely load and unload patients using appropriate equipment Work as part of a professional patient transport crew Maintain high standards of patient dignity and safety Complete basic documentation as required

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for reliable, caring individuals who want to work in patient transport services and make a real difference.

Essential:

Full UK Manual Driving Licence with experience driving ambulances or vans Caring and professional attitude Good communication skills Ability to work flexible shifts Physically able to assist patients
Desirable (not essential):

Experience as an Ambulance Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Assistant Previous NHS or private patient transport experience
