An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and dynamic Deputy Team Manager to join the South Oxfordshire Adult Mental Health Team (AMHT) within the Didcot locality.



This is a key leadership role within a well-established, multidisciplinary team that consists of both highly experienced and newly qualified professionals, all committed to delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges in our local community. Location:

Didcot Locality, covering Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage & Faringdon, Wallingford, Henley, and Thame.



As Deputy Team Manager , you will provide clinical oversight and leadership to the team, working closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist (Clinical Lead) and Team Manager (Operational Lead) . Your responsibilities will include:



Providing day-to-day management and clinical supervision to staff.

Supporting the ongoing development and performance management of the team.

Undertaking clinical duties , including conducting assessments and managing a small caseload.

Acting as Duty Manager on occasion (full shadowing support will be provided for those new to this responsibility).

Deputising for the Team Manager as required.
