Anaesthetics Practitioners - Birmingham

Are you an Anaesthetics Nurse/ODP looking for flexibility in your shifts?

I am currently recruiting Anaesthetics Nurses/ODPs for long term and ad-hoc bookings within and round the Birmingham area, so whether you are looking to pick up an extra shift or you are looking for a full time work, we will be able to help!

Pay Rates: \xc2\xa326 - \xc2\xa335 per hour

Working as a Theatre Anaesthetics Nurse/ODP at Firstpoint Healthcare can include working in a variety of private and NHS hospitals, there is no requirement to drive and shifts are tailored to your availability, lifestyle and location.

What will your role will entail:

• Providing a person-centred approached to serve and protect the dignity of patients and their care plans
• Lead and delegate medical tasks including assessments and evaluations of care plans, observations and record keeping.
• Liaise with Doctors, Surgeons, Nurses and GPs
• Order, administer, store and dispose of controlled drugs in line with specific guidelines
• Support other members of staff in and out of the operation room

In order to be a successful candidate you will need:

• Current NMC registration or HCPC registration, with no restrictions on practise
• 6 months experience within the NHS in your chosen setting
• A DBS registered on the Update Service or happy to apply for a new one
• Evidence of Immunisation History
