About the role

Finimize analysts distill complex information into easy-to-understand, bite-sized educational and insightful content hosted in the Finimize app and beyond. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be good at understanding financial concepts, and simplifying them for our readers and listeners.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working directly with our VP Content and editorial team to develop new and engaging content for the Finimize community. The ideal candidate will have experience working in financial markets roles such as equity research (buy or sell-side), wealth management, or private banking.

As an Analyst your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with other analysts, editors, and audio producers to produce news, analysis, and educational content across a range of topics including fundamental analysis of companies, industries, and economies
• Cut through the noise of financial markets to figure out what matters most and why
• Carry out independent research to identify and analyze important trends, and opportunities
• Contribute to the development of the Finimize platform through new content initiatives
• Support SEO strategy to drive website traffic and institutional client lead

About the candidate requirements

• Several years of experience analyzing, discussing, and writing about financial markets and personal finance
• A strong ability to understand and explain macroeconomic trends and concepts
• An ability to interpret and explain the performance of individual companies, currency pairs, and asset classes
• A demonstrable ability to think independently, analytically, and dispassionately
• Native-level written communication skills in English
• Strong attention to detail
• A willingness to take on a lot of work in a fast-paced start-up environment and adapt to the news flow
• The ability to operate with and keep to tight deadlines
• The flexibility and intellectual curiosity to get involved in other elements of the content team\xe2\x80\x99s work as required, and in projects across the rest of the company
• Excellent communication skills with a mindset for collaboration
• The right to live and work in the UK
