An opportunity has arisen for an Analyst - Grade 3 within the Inorganics department at ALS Environmental in Coventry, West Midlands.
As an Analyst Grade 3 you will be completing, to the required timescales and quality standards, the analysis of samples for a range of methods.

Hours Per Week: 37
Days Per Week: Friday to Tuesday (08:00 - 16:00). Due to emergency cover requirements for one of our major clients, the successful candidate will be expected to work on bank holidays that fall on a Monday and be on standby for other key bank holidays, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.

The day to day
Understand customer requirements.
Ensure samples are completed efficiently and effectively following all process, procedures, and legislation.
Deliver on key performance indicators.
Report analytical data.
Troubleshoot and rectify equipment issues, including daily preventative maintenance.
Investigate and report on NCW on the QMS and assign priority.
Assist team members to achieve work objectives, including training colleagues to the required standards.
Proactively ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures
The Essentials
5 GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to new Grade 4) or above to include Science, Maths and English
A level or equivalent in scientific subject
Previous laboratory experience is beneficial.
