Research and Data Analyst, Healthcare Team

Head Office, Baker Street, London

A fantastic opportunity to work within Knight Frank and our market leading and award-winning Healthcare team based at our global Head Office.

Working within this growing team and reporting to the Department Head, you will be responsible for supporting the team with data collection. Using your pro-active, collaborative and data-led mindset, you will be skilled across the end-to-end data journey, from collection to sense checking and analysing data.

Tasks

  • Assisting in the development of the care home feasibility and viability assessment platform
  • Producing feasibility and viability assessments for development sites/existing care home schemes, comprising demographics, competition and wealth profile analysis
  • Mystery shopping existing competition
  • Producing care home planning needs assessment reports
  • Analysing development site opportunities and providing commentary and consultancy to clients.
  • Assisting on specialist care market reports
  • Assisting on commercial due diligence reports.
  • Assisting in ad-hoc consultancy projects
  • Database management to assist the accuracy of consultancy reports and healthcare portal
  • Assisting with improving current products, from feasibility studies to commercial due diligence reports
  • To meet with other data analysts within the firm and share information on a regular basis
  • Properly integrate with other fee earners and research.
  • To assist Team Lead with sourcing healthcare development sites, comprising writing to and liaising with landowners, estate agents, property developers and the wider Knight Frank team members.
Experience required:
  • Degree qualified, with an aptitude for quantitative techniques, an analytical approach to completing assignments and strong attention to detail.
  • Proven expert in creating algorithms using data sets, gaining understanding and insight out of data, particularly complex data sets, translating non-technical suggestions into quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent English language oral and written skills.
Experience with the following helpful but not required:
  • Collating, sorting, storing and sense checking data, including databases
  • Using analytical and data presentation software, such as Power BI
  • An interest in the healthcare real estate markets and the ability to spot trends.
  • Adaptable, with an ability to challenge the status quo and drive efficiencies.
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities as required and concurrently manage a diverse range of projects.
  • Advanced in Excel (ideally VBA) and proficient in Powerpoint and Word.
  • Collaborative and natural networker who is able to build rapport, develop relationships and gain trust with internal and external stakeholders
