Role Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Strategy Analyst to join our Investment Strategy team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for financial markets. The successful candidate will support the team across portfolio and liquidity monitoring, macroeconomic and market analysis, as well as investment modelling.
Key Responsibilities: Liquidity & Portfolio Monitoringo Assist in tracking portfolio liquidity and cash flow forecasts.o Support regular reporting on portfolio exposures, risk metrics, and performance.o Help maintain and improve dashboards and monitoring tools.Modelling & Analysiso Contribute to the development and maintenance of frameworks and models for dynamic asset allocation and scenario analysis.o Assist in building macroeconomic models and investment frameworks to support top-down decision making.o Support the team in asset-liability modelling exercises. Macroeconomic & Market Researcho Assist research on global macroeconomic trends and market developments.o Help to prepare briefing notes and presentations for internal stakeholders.o Monitor key indicators and produce regular updates on market conditions.Reporting & Communicationo Assist in preparing investment strategy reports, presentations, and Partner Fund materials.o Collaborate with other members of the wider Investment Team to deliver insights and recommendations.o Contribute to the documentation of systems, processes, and analytical tools to ensure knowledge sharing and process continuity.
Requirements for the role: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python is a plus. Basic understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Curious and intellectually engaged with financial markets. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Good conduct that is consistent with the LPPI values- aligned behavioursPreferred but not essential: Demonstrated relevant work experience. Internship or work experience in investment analysis, strategy, or financial modelling.
