Job Description


Seeking Investment Banking Analyst to work closely with senior team members while executing a variety of corporate finance transactions (including both Mergers & Acquisitions and Equity Capital Markets). The successful candidate will support the companies business development initiatives
Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Managing and executing due diligence activities;
  • Managing a portfolio of retained corporate clients;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with client personnel and other professional advisers;
  • Participation in key meetings with clients and other professional advisors;
  • Analysing companies, industries, historical financial statements and prospective financial information;
  • Building financial models and performing valuation analyses;
  • Drafting proposal materials and transaction marketing documents; and
  • Assisting in identifying appropriate investors and/or strategic and financial buyers.
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic record;
  • Full or part professional accountancy or financial qualification and/or a minimum of 2 years finance/accountancy experience;
  • Significant commercial awareness and thorough understanding of the equity capital markets;
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills;
  • High degree of maturity and integrity;
  • Self-starting team player with a high degree of initiative and an ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment;
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis;
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving skills; and
  • Strong attention to detail, leadership skills and work ethic.
