he Team



Schroders Capital Solutions is responsible for designing, implementing, and actively managing outcome-orientated, multi-private assets portfolios that invest across all private market segments and implementation types, leveraging the breadth and depth of specialist expertise across the Schroders Capital global platform and external manager capabilities. Our multi-disciplinary and dynamic approach enables us to tailor investment solutions to specific client needs and deliver strong, sustainable outcomes.


The role provides the opportunity to work in a small, dynamic team where you will gain exposure to all aspects of multi-private market investments, a high-growth area within the investment universe. Being part of a small, growing team will allow for immediate hands-on experience and opportunity to quickly take on more responsibilities.


Role Purpose



As an Analyst, you will support all team members in providing high-quality investment recommendations, portfolio management, manager research, reporting and benchmarking, filling out RFP/RFI, and client service. This role is well suited to candidates eager to develop their expertise in private markets and institutional investment, while working in a dynamic global environment. This role is not just about investment thinking, portfolio management, and client management --it's about orchestrating a cross-functional effort that includes investment teams, structuring, legal, and distribution to deliver bespoke, scalable, and regulatory-compliant solutions.



Key Responsibilities



Collaborate with the Head/CIO, portfolio managers, product/client specialists and internal/external investment teams to prepare investment committee presentations, Portfolio Management analysis/materials, client updates, investment reports, impact analysis/reports, and marketing materials. Proactively update portfolio management dashboards, proprietary tools and internal databases with relevant product information. Help design and monitor client investment strategies, conducting asset allocation reviews and risk assessments. Produce clear, effective written materials for marketing, RFIs, RFPs, and DDQs/ESG questionnaires and contribute to new business proposals and respond to specific client and consultant requests within deadlines and accuracy. Participate in strategic projects such as sustainability initiatives, new product launches, and thought leadership efforts. Assist with portfolio and market analysis, including performance, risk analytics, industry trends, competitor comparisons, and regulatory changes affecting managed portfolios. Collaborate closely across investment, operations, legal, and compliance functions.

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications



Required:



A strong academic background (degree level or equivalent) in finance, mathematics, economics, or a related field Analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, AI tools, and data analysis. Ability to present ideas and findings clearly, both in writing and verbally Ability to synthesise information, creating economies of scales across products where appropriate Some relevant experience in asset management, consultancy, investment banking, or a related field (internships or work placements acceptable) Previous experience and/or a strong interest in financial markets, sustainability and the asset management industry Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Desirable:



Progress towards CFA or actuarial qualifications is beneficial Familiarity with institutional investment strategies, asset classes, and risk management techniques Experience drafting client or stakeholder materials
