We are looking for an

Analytical Development Scientist

to be part of our Swindon-based team, responsible for supporting laboratory operations and executing analytical activities in compliance with

cGXP standards

. This role plays a key part in

process development, method validation, and ensuring product integrity

within the West Wing Laboratory.

The Role:

Operate and maintain

common laboratory equipment

with proficiency. Conduct

analytical testing

autonomously, supporting

process development, validation, stability, and clinical batch release

. Drive research into

new technologies

, including innovative products and equipment advancements. Assist in

process improvements

and efficiency initiatives within Analytical Development. Apply

root cause analysis

and statistical methods to problem-solving. Maintain a

safe working environment

, participating in housekeeping duties,

stability facility upkeep

, and laboratory safety audits. Work within

Quality Management Systems (QMS)

, ensuring proper execution of

change controls and requests

.

The Candidate:

BSc or MSc

in a pharmaceutical-related field (

chemistry preferred

) or equivalent industry experience. Experience in

HPLC operation

and

method validation

. Previous

GMP experience

is highly advantageous.
