As part of the Global Customer Intelligence & Experience organization (CIX), we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the Customer Insights & Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for: building a centralized customer views & reporting to enable faster, predictive insights; ensuring global alignment on customer definitions; testing & implementing innovative analytics tools and workflows.
This opportunity is a 1-year fixed contract, with possibility to extend or transition to a permanent role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the creation of Semantic Layer, to ensure there is central repository of logic & code, enabling faster time to insight
Support in consolidation of customer data, to build 360 customer view integrating all internal data sources, for predictive insights purposes
Coordinate Global definition alignment between regions and global, across analyses & reports, from customer standpoint
Partner with Data Engineering team & Database agency for Customer Reporting Migration, as we move to a new Customer Data Platform (CDP)
Help in assessment and roll-out of innovative tools & ways of working for Customer Insights & Analytics team, to boost current workflow (data extraction, pattern detection, analysis)
Be accountable for data quality checks, and creation of recurring reporting on customer data quality, to ensure data is robust source for insights building
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Experience
Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics...)
Experience in Data Engineering, Data Science or Advanced Analytics within a tech/retail/FMCG company preferred.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent planning and organizing skills with a drive for results, problem solving and action oriented
Team player with interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely
Skills & Tools
Excellent proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and modelling.
Strong proficiency with Snowflake. (Including an understanding of roles, access control, and user management. Knowledge of virtual warehouses for scaling and accessing compute. Knowledge of Cortex)
Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (e.g. star schema, normalisation, fact/dimension tables, semantic layer/ontologies)
Experience with version control (e.g. Git) and collaborative development practices.
Basic knowledge with dbt or similar tools for transformation pipelines.
Knowledge of Python for data transformation or automation.
Strong interest in semantic layer, ontologies and LLM implementation.
Familiarity with data visualisation platforms such as Power BI or Tableau, including building dashboards and creating data models for reporting.
