As the Anchor cleaner and stores person you will need a meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills. You will be working as part of a small team taking in deliveries into the stores, checking quantities and issuing stocks to operatives and the maintenance team.
Anchor cleaning is one of the unsung processes of what we do. You will be responsible for cleaning and inspecting our anchors and all parts involved. Springs, Wedges, barrels and caps. Using the various processes to ensure all anchors going back into production meet the stringent checks and quality to ensure the smooth running and MOST importantly the safety of the factory operatives. Calm under pressure and be able to cope with a fast paced environment.
Please be aware a drugs test will be undertaken on induction and if this is failed the job offer will be rescinded with immediate effect. Unless proof of a medically prescribed reason is provided.
Duties
Take in deliveries into the store
Check and distribute deliveries to the correct department
Maintain an organised and structured work space.
Follow H & S guidelines and rules in the cleaning process
Clean all parts in the stressing anchors
Check and quality inspect all parts of the anchors
Dis-assemble and re-assemble all parts ready for daily production
Hit timed targets to keep production flowing
Experience
Previous experience is not essential as training will be given
Must have a meticulous attention to detail
Have good organisational skills and be able to work on their own or part of a small team
Follow instructions on our processes to ensure quality conformity
Be forward thinking as all suggestions are taken on board, good or bad.

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour
