Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines, ensuring accuracy and presentation quality Assist with menu planning by contributing ideas for nutritious and appealing dishes that meet diverse dietary needs Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and hygiene practices Support kitchen operations through food preparation, cooking, and plating of meals in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold health regulations and safety standards ensure meal consistency and quality control Serve meals with professionalism and friendliness, creating a welcoming atmosphere for service users

Qualifications

Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a professional setting Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Experience with menu planning and understanding of nutritional requirements Background in restaurant environments is advantageous
