Role Description

This is an on-site, 18 month role for a RAMA Qualified/Trainee Shop Assistant (Maternity Cover) located in Blairgowrie.

42.5 hours per week with Saturday rota when training is complete.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with their purchases, loading customer vehicles, providing expert advice on animal health products, managing stock levels, and maintaining a clean and organized shop environment.

The assistant will also support day-to-day operations such as product promotion, ensuring high service standards, and adhering to regulatory requirements in the sale of licensed products.

Qualifications

Knowledge or relevant experience in animal health, farming requisites, or agriculture. Customer service and communication skills to assist and advise customers effectively. Organizational abilities for stock management and maintaining shop orderliness. Experience or certification as an SQP (Suitably Qualified Person) or ability/willingness to achieve RAMA qualification. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. General IT skills for managing inventory and sales systems are an advantage.
