This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Strategy & Delivery Team within the Prevention and Inclusion Service at Newport City Council.
The role will be working to the set objectives as per the JD, focusing on creating, implementing and leading on the delivery of provision to schools, communities and families. Identifying and developing provisions, whilst Co-ordinating services aligned with the needs of children, young people and families in Newport.
We are looking to recruit an individual who is passionate about empowering individuals and communities and have experience of line management, planning, leading, organising and evaluating projects. Having strong communication and organisational skills, with proven ability to work with a diverse range of individuals and organisations.
We are looking for someone who is a good listener and enjoys working with people. Someone who is a team player but able to work on their own initiative, and able to work flexibly and manage a busy schedule of meetings, sessions and events, some of which may be in the evenings or at weekends.
