Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist within Starbucks' EMEA Shared Services Accounting function, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. You will support the integrity of the Trade Payables ledger and contribute to the delivery of an effective and efficient service. This role requires strong attention to detail, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Here, you'll achieve results by:



Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments in accordance with company policy. Monitoring supplier accounts and reconciling statements to maintain accurate records. Supporting the month-end close process, including ledger reconciliations and reporting. Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve queries efficiently. Maintaining the accuracy of the Trade Payables ledger and ensuring compliance with internal controls. Contributing to process improvements and supporting AP-related projects.

Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance-related role.

Experience in AP property-related processes (e.g., rents, service charges).

Knowledge of 3-way PO matching. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Confidence in using Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.

Oracle system knowledge (nice to have).

GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications). Collaborative style and ability to contribute to team success.


This role is based at our London Support Centre, with a flexible working policy (50% in-office, 50% remote). We encourage all partners to spend time in our stores to better understand the Starbucks experience. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30, with flexibility offered.
