YOUR ROLE
Join a new team delivering theFuture State Architecture for payment processing. We aim to introduce a lean and reusable payment processing engine that will form the foundation of next-generation payment capabilities. This role involves leveraging existing software assets in an inner-sourcing model, focusing on reuse and enhancement to enable rapid delivery of new product features at low cost and high quality.


YOUR PROFILEDeliver engineering expertise for next-generation payment processing architecture. Develop high-quality, resilient, and scalable software solutions. Lead by example in coding standards, testing, and quality assurance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new capabilities. Drive modernization and cloud adoption for payment systems. Set benchmarks for software delivery and technical excellence. Act as a subject matter expert, providing solutions to complex technical challenges. Ensure alignment with corporate technology strategy and best practices. Partner with DevOps for automated infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance. Conduct feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and system reviews. Provide architecture guidance and ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards. 15+ years of experience in API engineering and architecture. Strong expertise in API design, microservices, and distributed systems. Proficiency in Java; experience with Go and Rust preferred. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh. Expertise in Kafka, observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus), and cloud/DevOps. Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, storage, and SQL; familiarity with distributed databases. Experience in financial services/payments domain is a plus. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
