The Role

We're Healf--a purpose-driven brand redefining what it means to live well through our four pillars: EAT, MOVE, MIND, and SLEEP. We're growing fast and rebuilding our mobile app from the ground up to deliver an experience that's seamless, empowering, and joyful to use.


We're looking for an experienced

App Developer

to lead the development of our new React Native app. You'll collaborate with designers, marketers, and backend teams to build a world-class wellness platform that lives in your pocket.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll take ownership of app development using React Native, TypeScript, and Turborepo, engineering a smooth, modern, high-performance product from the ground up. Lead the rebuild of the Healf mobile app using React Native, targeting both iOS and Android with high performance and native feel. Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect components, contributing to a beautiful, intuitive UI. Integrate with Shopify's GraphQL API to deliver smooth browsing, purchasing, and customer account experiences. Work within a shared codebase using Turborepo. Ensure the app is fast, smooth, and lightweight across devices, with strong attention to app size, responsiveness and design integrity.

Qualifications

:

5+ years of experience in mobile app development, with a strong foundation in React Native. Proven track record building and scaling consumer-facing or ecommerce apps. Fluent in TypeScript and modern React development. A passion for clean, modular code and scalable architecture Strong working knowledge of Figma and design-to-development workflows. A strong focus on user experience, performance optimization, and mobile best practices (e.g. offline support, deep linking, and push notifications). Great collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly across teams

Nice-to-Have:

Experience working directly with Shopify's Storefront and Admin GraphQL APIs, especially in the context of mobile applications. Familiarity with Next.js web apps and how to align mobile experiences with server-rendered content. Knowledge of CI/CD workflows for mobile (e.g., Fastlane, EAS Build, or Bitrise). Hands-on experience with payment integrations (Apple Pay, Google Pay) and secure authentication flows. Background in fast-paced, iterative development environments like startups or product-led teams.
