Overview

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining and supporting mobile applications across various platforms, including Android and iOS. Duties

Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms using languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, and Objective-C. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user interfaces (UI) that are intuitive and engaging, ensuring optimal user experience (UX). Integrate third-party APIs and RESTful services to enhance application functionality. Write clean, efficient code with version control using Git. Conduct testing and debugging to ensure applications meet quality standards and function seamlessly across devices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Document technical specifications and application workflows thoroughly. Stay updated with emerging trends in application development, including frameworks like React Native, Xamarin, React, and related tools.

Qualifications

Proven experience in application development for both Android and iOS platforms. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, C#, and frameworks like React Native or Xamarin. Strong understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and integration techniques. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles to create user-friendly interfaces. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Experience in IT environments with a focus on application lifecycle management is desirable.
