Appeals Handler

VARS Technology is looking to strengthen our Appeals Team, based in Blackpool, as we continue to grow. We are seeking an enthusiastic Appeals Handler to join our growing office team.

This role involves supporting our Claims Department, working within the Appeals Team to manage and process appeals efficiently and accurately. Strong written communication skills are essential as our appeals system is email-based.

Key Elements of the Role Will Include:

Working within our Appeals Team to support the wider Claims Department. Responding to recipients promptly and professionally, maintaining a good standard of customer service. Analysing case-by-case data to ensure accuracy and maintain company standards. Communicating with customer sites and obtaining necessary information in a professional and timely manner. Ensuring records of appeals, claims, and follow-up actions are accurate and up to date. Handling personal data with discretion and in full compliance with GDPR requirements. Assisting with general administrative duties as required.
To Be Successful, You Should Demonstrate:

Great written and verbal communication skills. An ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail. A basic understanding of common computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Office). A proactive and professional approach to work. Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
