The next generation electronics products with modern PCB design faces unprecedented complexity, demanding robust verification and first-pass success. We're expanding our European PCB Team with an expert Application Engineer to drive customer success.


The objective for this role will be to lead pre-sales engagements, lead assessment and solution mapping whilst providing strategic product demonstrations and running custom workshops/deployment guidance.

Desireable

Master's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering with emphasis in electronics engineering, or work knowledge and experience. Comfortable or willing to learn to present at all levels from technical to executive. You have a background as electronics engineer for several years, working with both PCB design and manufacturing. This have given you a good understanding of the overall PCB development process, and more specifically a very good design and manufacturing competence. Relevant work experience with Electronic Contract Manufacturing (EMS) General knowledge of pick and place, inspection, and test equipment Some programming knowledge (Python, ...) is a plus. It's an advantage, but not a requirement, to have Xpedition or Valor or any Enterprise EDA solution knowledge It's important that you like to take on new challenges and responsibilities to grow your competence into new areas as market constantly evolves. Candidate is willing to really commit to make customers successful and win business for Siemens EDA. Excellent verbal and written presentation as well as interpersonal skills in English are required. There's an advantage to have experience from comparable jobs, but not a requirement.

Logistics

The candidate will report into the European PCB and System Solutions Technical Team. The role is pan-European and includes travelling from time to time, both European and International with multi-functional team collaboration This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of PCB design while working with innovative Siemens EDA technologies.
