Schindler's Modernisation & Design Centre (MDC) is searching for a passionate and driven Application Engineer Trainee to join our dynamic team in Addlestone. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge lift solutions, help revolutionise urban mobility, and grow with a world-leading company!

What You'll be doing:

Deliver creative and cost-effective engineering solutions for custom and pre-engineered lift systems Support internal and external customers with a customer-first mindset Master the art of product configuration--design layouts, develop new lift components, and generate accurate bills of materials Use your technical know-how to ensure first-pass yield and on-time project delivery Travel to client sites for surveys and meetings, taking ownership from design all the way to site documentation and manuals Champion safety and compliance, always setting the gold standard for Health & Safety in engineering practices

What you bring

What You'll Bring:

A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Some experience with engineering design, installation, or technical calculations Knowledge of CAD--AutoCAD, 3D tools like Revit, and Microsoft Office suite Strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills Team spirit and customer focus, paired with a relentless drive for results and bags of enthusiam!
