Overview



Are you ready to make a difference? At Gallagher Bassett, we're looking for an IT Application Support Specialist to join our team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our Claims Management Systems run smoothly, helping us deliver exceptional service to our clients. If you're passionate about technology and problem-solving, this could be the perfect role for you.





How you'll make an impact



In this role, you'll be the go-to person for supporting our Claims Management Systems. You'll work closely with users to resolve system issues, perform checks, and ensure everything runs like clockwork. Using your skills in SQL and data analysis, you'll investigate and fix problems, keeping our systems stable and efficient. You'll also collaborate with technical teams to improve our systems, support new releases, and create helpful training materials. Your work will directly contribute to better claims management and improved service for our clients.



Here's what you'll be doing:

Helping users by resolving system issues and answering queries. Monitoring system performance and ensuring everything works as it should. Working with teams to implement system updates and improvements. Creating clear and useful documentation and training resources. Promoting best practices and finding ways to improve processes.



About You



Here's what you'll bring to the role:

Experience in application support or IT customer service. Knowledge of

SQL

for analysing data and solving issues. Skills in Microsoft

Excel

, including lookups, pivot tables, and data validation. Experience using

SharePoint

for documentation and training. The ability to explain technical issues in simple terms. Confidence in delivering training using Microsoft Teams. A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

It's a bonus if you have:

Experience with claims, insurance, or financial services systems. Knowledge of ITIL methodologies or an

ITIL

Foundation Certification. Familiarity with tools like ProMapp and process mapping.
