Role Purpose

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Applications Analyst to take on 1st line support responsibilities for a new UK based client. The Applications Analyst role is a key role providing direct interaction to many internal and external stakeholders on the clients Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) of Planon. Key responsibilities of this customer centric role include helping to define and embed new 1st line support processes, creating training materials and the provision of training across multiple stakeholders. Key to the success of this role is to increase your knowledge of the ways of working of end users and of the Planon application, to not only deliver your responsibilities but also to assist in business process optimisation and continual improvement.

What this job involves

Mobilisation Phase

The implementation of Planon is being led by the client\xe2\x80\x99s implementation partner in which 1st line support processes need to be defined and aligned to the overall helpdesk service.

Having direct involvement in business process reviews and Planon application user testing allows for increased knowledge for the creation of required training materials.

Working closely with the Applications Manager, you will be heavily involved in all aspects of go-live activities.

Transition to Business-As-Usual

During mobilisation many activities will run in parallel in readiness for the transition to business-as-usual (BAU) that needs to be supported.

Implement and stress test the 1st line support procedures in readiness for go-live.

The provision of user training in the format of 1-2-1 and classroom-based training will start once the training material has been finalised in readiness for go-live.

Business-As-Usual

Assist in the embedment of the Planon application and take the 1st line support lead.

Proactively monitor and report upon 1st line support activities.

Analyse trends to identify areas of improvement - ways of working, functional changes, increased training.

Adapt training materials and ways of training provision based on continual feedback and needs.

Be part of user forums to also assist with increasing communications and awareness.

To gain a very high level of functional and process knowledge of the ways of working and of Planon.

Help proactively manage the Planon environment.

General

Provide a proactive approach to the role of 1st line support to develop good working relationships with all members of Jones Lang LaSalle staff and client staff.

Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements as required.

Ensure a professional image of Jones Lang LaSalle is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.

Flexibility to work non sociable hours which may include weekends and bank holiday working, based on a fair time-off in lieu arrangement.

Flexibility of travel to both JLL and client sites across the region to complete the requirements of the role.

Able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to manage 1st line support.

Experienced in creating training material and providing user training.

Knowledge of CAFM / IWMS applications / business processes would be advantageous.

A great communicator with excellent English skills.

Able to demonstrate excellent customer service and a flexible approach to meeting client requirements.
