Type:

Full-time, Permanent

Seniority:

Mid to Senior Level

Start Date:

The Mission

We're building the next generation of intelligent systems that help businesses understand and act on what matters - faster, deeper, and at scale.

Our platform brings together enterprise data, language models, and agentic workflows to unlock new levels of insight and decision-making. We believe the future of AI isn't just about generating text - it's about building systems that can reason, learn, and take meaningful action inside real businesses.

This is your chance to help shape that future.

The Role

As an

Applied AI & Data Engineer

, you'll be a key part of our AI platform team - helping design the intelligent workflows and data-aware infrastructure that power our agents.

You'll work hands-on across the full lifecycle of applied AI: from ingesting and transforming enterprise data, to embedding that context into LLM pipelines, to defining how agents reason, retrieve, and take action. Your strength is in

understanding data deeply

, using it to ground LLMs, and making sure the system delivers real insight, not just surface-level answers.

We're looking for someone who's part

data engineer

, part

ML engineer

, and fully committed to pushing agentic AI into practical enterprise use cases.

What You'll Do

Build end-to-end pipelines that feed structured and unstructured data into our AI agents Design and implement

retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

workflows to ground LLMs in context Engineer embeddings, metadata structures, and vector store logic for long- and short-term memory Develop tools for agents to interact with data stores, APIs, and downstream systems Collaborate with our product, data, and platform teams to turn ambiguous use cases into grounded, testable agent behaviours Define evaluation strategies to measure agent accuracy, relevance, and performance over time Own the full lifecycle: from prototype to production and ongoing iteration

What We're Looking For

3+ years

of experience in data, ML, or AI engineering roles Proficient in

Python

, with clean, testable, production-minded code Strong experience with

SQL

,

Pandas/Polars

, and working with structured data Familiarity with

LLMs and NLP concepts

(e.g. prompt structuring, context windows, tokenisation) Experience with

cloud platforms

(e.g. AWS, GCP) and modern data tooling Exposure to

RAG pipelines

, vector databases, or embedding models (e.g. OpenAI, Cohere, SentenceTransformers) A builder's mindset - you're hands-on, proactive, and love making things work in the real world You think like a data scientist, build like a data engineer, and operate like an applied ML practitioner

Why Join Us

Help build a new category of enterprise AI - where agents are

the product

, not a feature Work at the intersection of data, language models, and decision-making Collaborate with a no-ego, highly technical team in an early-stage, high-impact environment Influence the foundational architecture of a platform being built for scale across multiple industries Join a company where your work directly shapes how intelligent systems operate inside real businesses
If you're interested and think you'd be a great fit we'd love to here from you!
