We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) to cover the

Scotland region

. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all lifting operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination:

Develop detailed lifting plans, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all operations are executed safely and efficiently.

Compliance:

Ensure all lifting activities comply with relevant health and safety legislation, standards, and guidelines.

Team Management:

Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors to execute lifting operations effectively.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of lifting plans, risk assessments, and safety briefings.

Problem-Solving:

Address and resolve any issues that arise during lifting operations promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

Certification:

CPCS Accredited Appointed Person (Lifting Operations), CPCS Slinger, CPCS Lifting Supervisor

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or heavy industry sectors.

Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of lifting operations, equipment, and health and safety regulations.

Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Flexibility:

Willingness to travel to various sites across Scotland as required. Ability to work
