We are currently recruiting for an

Apprentice Electrician

to join a growing firm based in the Peterborough area on a permanent basis.

Salary: 7.55

The apprentice electrician role will involve:

Assisting with PV solar panel installations - a large part of the business (training provided). Supporting rewiring and new wiring projects. Helping with a variety of electrical installations. Assisting in fault finding and maintenance tasks. Supporting inspection and testing under supervision. Exposure to domestic and some commercial work. EV charger installation assistance. New supply, ryefield board and meter installation under guidance.
The ideal candidate:

Has achieved or is working towards

Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installation

. Driving Licence required Keen to learn, proactive, with strong hands-on and communication skills.
Job details:

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Work Remotely: No. Location: Candidates must be based in the UK, within a 30-mile radius of Peterborough.
Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
Experience:

Electrical: Apprenticeship / Level 2 or 3 (required).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 7.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
