Job Description

This is a Government funded Apprenticeship; the successful candidate will be working towards an Administrator Accounts Apprenticeship.

We are looking for an individual that is enthusiastic, well-motivated and highly organised.

The apprentice will be responsible for supporting their other colleagues with basic account administration duties within the setting. The apprentice will eventually be the first point of contact and answer enquiries from parents, carers, members of the public and outside educational agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing daily reconciliation

- Processing payments

- Producing invoices for families

- Preparing monthly reports

- QuickBook bookkeeping

- Answering phones in a polite and professional manner

- Running errands

- Filing

- Sending and receiving emails and dealing with enquiries

- Data entry

- Eventually processing of wages (SAGE)

The ideal candidate:

Successful candidates will need to have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, have good IT skills, and be punctual and well organised. As well taking your first steps in a great career you will find your role with us to be enjoyable - everyone within the team is warm, sociable and supportive.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

strong GCSE results in both Maths and English, grade 4 or above A levels (C and above) or equivalent great communication and customer service skills basic Excel skills is advantageous you need to have a current right to work in the UK Applicants must be organised
No previous experience required as all training will be provided.

Working Week:

Weekly rota, available between 09:00 - 17:00

Monday - Friday

7.55 per hour

The APPRENTICESHIP programme will last for 12 months and you will achieve a Level 2 or 3 Account Administration, Functional Skills in ICT (if required) and Level 1 Employee Rights and Responsibilities.

This is an APPRENTICESHIP; and Government Funding is available for 16-23 years old. (Minimum age 18 years old for this post)
