An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a respected and reputable team as an
Emergency Care Assistant Apprentice
. FSNE Medical is seeking motivated, compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our Frontline Division on a permanent basis, full-time 35 hours.FSNE Medical is a CQC-registered independent ambulance provider offering event medical cover, patient transport services and frontline emergency response. As part of our team, you will work within a double-crewed ambulance alongside another Emergency Care Assistant, Ambulance Technician or Paramedic, delivering high-quality patient care in fast-paced and often pressurised environments.
Apprenticeship Details
Duration: 13 months Starting salary: 18,200 Post-probation salary: 21,840 Salary on completion: 24,570 Qualifications gained: Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) qualification Blue light driving qualification
Essential Requirements
Manual driving licence Must hold, or be actively working towards, a
C1 driving licence
Willingness to undertake ECA training on the apprenticeship Must hold, or be willing to undergo, anenhanced DBS check
Ability to safely lift and move patients and equipmentDesired Requirements
Previous frontline experience C1 licence
Desirable Skills
Strong communication skills Empathy, compassion and a caring approach Resilience and emotional robustness Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
Unfortunately we are unable to accept anyone with a higher qualification (e.g. Paramedic qualification) onto the apprenticeship route
