looking to progress their early years education. This varied role would suit someone who ideally has their L2 Early Years Practitioner and is looking to progress their supervisory and management skills whilst studying for their
Early Years Educator L3 Apprenticeship.
The WOW Club is a vibrant Wraparound Care Club working with children ages 4-11 who are looking for a motivated and caring individual to join the team as apprentice assistant manager. Working with children during breakfast, after school and holiday clubs, whilst studying for an Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship, this is a great opportunity to progress your journey in childcare and leadership.
As an apprentice you will be supported as you gain experience helping to plan, deliver and supervise fun, engaging and safe activities from morning routines and creative afternoons and be part of a team which makes a genuine impact on young lives.

Support with daily activities and routines before and after school
Help plan and deliver exciting play and learning opportunities

Working Week:
30 hours per week including one day attending college and 4 days on site. 07:00-09:00 five days per week and 15:00-18:00 three or more days per week
Salary:
15,600 per annum in line with the Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage - see further information below.
Qualifications:
GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4, Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or minimum 6 months experience in a childcare setting

Future Prospects:
On successful completion of the apprenticeship there is potential for progression to a Club Manager role at the existing site or a new location.

This is a 21-month apprenticeship and applicants MUST BE free from full time education to be eligible to apply for it and have the minimum qualification level to apply for it
As this is a Level 3 apprenticeship you
MUST HAVE
a Level 2 qualification in childcare or significant experience in a childcare position to be eligible for this apprenticeship.

There are two sites in Loxwood and Burgess Heath and you may be required to work at either.
A driving license would be beneficial but isn't essential and for any candidates willing to travel between the two sites (Loxwood and Burgess Hill).
Further Information:
Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is 7.55 per hour (As of the 1st April 2025). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16 to 18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their ages applies.
