Who Are Taylors Auto Electrical?

Taylors Auto Electrical is an Aberdeen based company who specialise in electrical diagnosis and repairs of car , truck , bus , trailer , marine and plant petrol & diesel management systems.

We are looking to add an additional apprentice auto electrician to our staff.

What skills will I learn:

To diagnose and repair electrical faults on the vehicle (which may also involve removal and re-fitting of interior / exterior trim)

Be able to carry out diagnosis , repairs and service of vehicle air conditioning system

Be able to carry out diagnosis , system repairs and calibration of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)

Be able to carry out diagnosis , service and repairs of Electric / Hybrid vehicles

Be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams

Fitting of components

Use of specialist diagnostic equipment for diagnosing and programming processes

Gain valuable electrical / mechanical vehicle knowledge

How long will my apprenticeship last?

You will work through your apprenticeship for a duration of up to 4 years

Working hours and salary:

Your hours will typically be 40 hours per week and you may also be required to work overtime as & when required.

Your salary will be 7.55 per hour

What qualifications / skills are required?

Nat 5 passes , grade c or above in English and Computing plus 1 other relevant subject or equivalent academic achievements

Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written situations

Good core skills in IT , communication , numeracy , problem solving and working with others

Must be highly organised and have good attention to detail

Adhere to company safety , housekeeping and discipline standards

A really strong desire to work in the Automotive Industry
