We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic
Apprentice Business Support Officer
to join our team at Align Property Services.
In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly by providing essential administrative and business support. From managing day-to-day tasks, to assisting with projects that make a real impact, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while developing valuable skills for your future.

Our Business Support team is the backbone of Align Property Services. They ensure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes, providing vital support across the business. From managing schedules and handling documentation to assisting with projects and client communications, the team plays a key role in keeping operations efficient and professional. Their collaborative approach and attention to detail make them an essential part of delivering exceptional service.

Since 2016, we have welcomed 43 apprentices across a range of specialism including architecture, building and quantity surveying, civil engineering and mechanical and electrical engineering. What you'll be doing
As an Apprentice Business Support Officer, you'll work to defined business standards and processes, carrying out a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks with professionalism and confidentiality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing advice and guidance on business processes, researching and managing information across finance, projects, staffing, and performance data, and helping to develop and maintain systems that support operational needs. You'll prepare and present documents, manage service databases, assist with facilities management, and organise meetings and events. Acting as a first point of contact for specific functions, you'll also support recruitment, induction, and training activities, while performing accurate data input to keep our records up to date.

In return, you'll receive a structured apprenticeship program with Level 3 progression, weekly day release to college, travel expenses covered, 25 days of annual leave, and opportunities for professional development. A competitive salary and clear progression path will be provided as you advance.
What we are looking for
A good academic record
A minimum of 5 GCSE Grades A-C/5-9 including Maths, English and Science
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Driving Licence or willing/working towards obtaining a UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle would be desirable.
Willingness to undertake the part time apprenticeship
The apprenticeship programme:
You will start your Apprenticeship in 2026, attending a local college one day a week and working towards achieving a full Level 3 qualification in Business Administration.
The apprenticeship supports career growth through blended learning. It offers business and role-specific training, mentoring, and practical experience. It includes an induction, training days, on-the-job learning, and access to readily available resources over an 18-month period.
Together with the support from your team, we will work closely with you over the course of your apprenticeship to support and plan a development pathway that suits you.
