Now, we're looking for a

keen and enthusiastic Apprentice Carpenter

to join our growing team and learn the trade the right way -- from experienced professionals who care about doing things properly.

The Role:

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you'll be working alongside skilled tradespeople on a variety of domestic building projects, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of carpentry and construction. This is a fantastic opportunity to

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day carpentry tasks including stud walling, flooring, roofing, and fitting doors, windows, and skirting boards Help with structural work on lofts, extensions, and garage conversions Learn how to read technical drawings and follow building plans Measure and cut materials under supervision Maintain a clean and safe working environment Load and unload tools and materials Listen, observe, and ask questions to build your knowledge and skillset Be punctual, reliable, and contribute positively to the team

What We're Looking For:

A genuine interest in carpentry and construction Friendly, polite, and a team player Good communication skills Organised and able to follow instructions carefully Willingness to learn and improve Reliable and punctual Local to the Portsmouth/Emsworth area or able to travel reliably
