We are searching for a chef to join our team in our thriving cafe kitchen.Family owned and run, Farm Shop, Butchery, Deli and Ruby Red Caf, including function rooms. Using home reared Beef, Lamb and homegrown potatoes from the farm.
Quality home cooked food, using home-reared produce from our own family farm.
No split shifts, Day time mainly and occasional evening shifts to assist with our varying events (including weddings, parties & themed evenings based around our home-reared & local produce).
Working in a small team is essential as we are a small family run business, able to work from own initiative and coping well under pressure.
List of duties:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen.
Assist in meal preparation and presentation to enhance the dining experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
Hours: 40.00 per week

Additional Information:
Working hours 8am to 4pm. Occasional evenings for events. No split shifts. 30-40hrs a week to include some weekends. On a bus route from Exeter.
Ideally Maths and English GCSE 4 or C.
