Food Preparation - Assist with prepping fresh ingredients, from vegetables to proteins, ensuring high-quality standards.
Cooking & Plating - Support the chefs in cooking dishes to perfection and plating them beautifully.
Maintaining Cleanliness & Hygiene - Follow food safety standards, keeping work areas clean and organised.
Assisting with Specials & Seasonal Menus - Contribute to the creation of daily and weekly specials using the best local ingredients.
Learning & Development - Work alongside experienced chefs, gaining hands-on experience and developing new skills.
Stock Management & Rotation - Help with stock control, ensuring ingredients are fresh and stored correctly.
Teamwork & Communication - Work efficiently as part of a busy kitchen team, supporting colleagues during service.
Ensuring Consistency & Quality - Follow recipes
Hours: 40.00 per week

Requirements and Prospects:
Basic Knife Skills ideally - Some experience handling kitchen knives

Training Provided:
Level 2 Professional Chef qualification.
Attendance at College one day a week for theory and practical knowledge. Skills officer visits to workplace 6-8 weeks.
