ROLE PURPOSE
To grow as a community coach by supporting the delivery of high-quality coaching and exceptional experiences to participants in the Community Foundation's diverse range of programmes and initiatives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
To assist and deliver coaching sessions that are participant-centred, structured, progressive, fun and of a high quality
To undertake the necessary planning for each activity session to ensure the programme demonstrates progression throughout
To assist project leads in expanding the reach of their programmes
To continually monitor and evaluate all sessions, activities, and programmes
To adapt sessions to cater for different ranges of ability and development age
To ensure all equipment associated with the coaching programme is correctly set up, maintained, stored, and fit for purpose
To be always a positive role model.
Contribute to raising the profile and the perception of the Boston United and the Community Foundation in leading and developing local opportunities across football and sport
Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of participants throughout all activities
To build relationships with partners such as schools and clubs and liaise with them to ensure they remain happy with the coaching service provided
To complete all apprenticeship work and CPD as required
To undertake administrative tasks associated with the post, including planning sessions, registers, consent forms, reports and communication with clubs and schools
To be familiar and comply with Community Foundation health and safety regulations and to undertake activity/venue risk assessments prior to all sessions, and report and record accidents / incidents / hazards.
To be engaged with own continuous professional development (CPD) and attend relevant training courses to improve their coaching delivery, as agreed by line manager.
Any other duties as requested by the line manager, programme leads and senior leadership team.

FA Level 1 Award in Coaching Football or FA Introduction to Coaching Football
NCFE Level 3 Diploma in sport or equivalent

CONTROL OF RESOURCES
VOLUNTEERS & WORK EXPERIENCE The employee is responsible for working with the Head of Education and Employability and to help supervise any volunteers and work experience placements and integrate them into the work programme.
EQUIPMENT Ensure you check and look after Boston United Community Foundation's equipment, which is necessary for the effective delivery of your activities.
MONITORING & EVALUATION To assist with production of attendance registers to support project monitoring and evaluation.
