You will learn all aspects of dental nursing, from patient care to clinical procedures, and will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by experienced mentors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures.
Prepare and maintain the clinical environment and equipment.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and health and safety protocols.
Provide excellent patient care, ensuring patients feel comfortable and at ease.
Accurately record and maintain patient information and treatment details.
Support with administrative duties as required, including appointment scheduling and stock management.
Attend off-site training and complete coursework in line with the apprenticeship framework.
Requirements
Essential:
A genuine interest in dentistry and patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, reliable, and eager to learn.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (grade C/4 or above preferred).
Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
