Apprentice Dental Nurse
Job Description
Are you ready for a career in Dental Nursing?
We have an excellent record as a trainer of Apprentices. You will
be with us for approximately 30 hours per week (including college session/ online release)
work towards a level 3 nursing diploma, over 18-24 months
be government-funded for this, if criteria is met
possess English and Mathematics GCSEs at grade 4/5 or above (or equivalent)
be a quick learner, willing to put in the effort and time to succeed
already have a good idea of what a dental nurse does throughout the working day
receive a comprehensive and thorough grounding in dental nursing from professionals
have a real desire to absorb new information, and put it into practice
be skilled with your hands, and possess 'fine motor skills'
work efficiently within a team, and recognising and respecting authority
be able to manage work pressures and time constraints with a smile
take pride in your appearance, conscious of a patient's perception of a dentistry
be an integral member of a friendly, supportive and exceptional team from Day One
