Apprentice Dental Nurse
Job Description
Apprentice Dental Nurse Position - Fully funded level 3 course in Dental Nursing
Duties:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Providing oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study models
- Performing basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming models
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient records
- Maintaining a clean and organized dental office environment
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems
- Ability to follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment
- Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Please note that a valid Dental Nurse certification or license is required for this position.
