Apprentices work alongside highly skilled people who share their years of experience, providing hands-on learning and mentorship. Regular one-on-one support, progress tracking, and constructive feedback ensure that every apprentice is guided throughout their journey.

Year 1 [workplace] EAL SVQ2 in Performing Industrial Operations at SCQF Level 5 Year 2 [college] NC Manufacturing Engineering Year 3 & 4 [workplace] EAL Diploma in Engineering at SCQF Level 7 [Engineering Technical Support]

What skills will I learn?



Technical Skills



Proficiency in 3D modelling and detailing software (e.g. Tekla or similar) Creating accurate fabrication and erection drawings for steel structures Reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawing and specifications Applying industry standards and tolerance in structural steel detailing Understanding structural components such as beams, columns, platforms, stairs and gantries Preparing technical drawing packs for manufacturing and on-site installation Conducting basic site measurements and surveys Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure design accuracy

What we offer?



Salary: 15,311.40 yearly. Increasing each year until fully qualified Working Hours: 39 hours per week Mon to Thurs 8:00am - 16:30pm & Fri 8:00am - 15:30 pm. 28 days holiday, plus an additional 5 days after 5 years continuous service additional day off on birthday access to Employee Assistance Programme enhanced paternity/maternity leave * death in service insurance
