Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive nursery environment where children can thrive. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and creativity. Manage daily activities and routines within the nursery, ensuring that all children are engaged and supervised at all times. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Experience

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for early years education and the ability to inspire young learners. Experience in managing classroom dynamics and creating a positive learning atmosphere.
